PRODUCTION AREA: The Sof Rosso is a blend, consisting predominantly of Lagrein, is cultivated on traditional pergola, and a smallpart of Merlot, cultivated with the Guyot system. Both growbetween 230 and 350 meters above sea level. The soil ispredominantly sandy and porphyry and the vineyards havesouth and southwest exposure.
WINEMAKING: The two varieties are vinified separately and blended onceready. The vinification of both varieties occurs only instainless steel tanks.
WINE DESCRIPTION: The Sofi Rosso is of an intense garnet red color with notesthat resemble ripe red fruit and violets ending with spicyfragrances.
FOOD PAIRING: This wine can be served with dishes with a strong taste andgrilled red meat.
